Search IMDB using foldernames instead of filenames? (1 Viewer)

Hello

I have been a Meedio user for the past months, but it wasnt until now that i moved to MP.

I have my DVD's in folders as VOB files, extracted from the Video_TS folder from my DVD's. And i really like the IMDB feature, but when i click the IMDB button, it will search for the first file names in the folder
(Video_TS and so on).

What i really would like is the ability to be able to choose to search for the folder names instead of the filenames inside the folders. I read a thread that was posted in about 9 months ago but nothing never seemed to happen?

So, is there a way for me to change this at this moment, or could this me implented, and also making me very happy? =)

this should already work. Just go one folder up and hit F3 (yellow button) on the folder, not in the folder...

What ive been doing is.. When the folder is selected, i press the i on my MCE remote. And select IMDB, even though i do that, it still searches for the file name

well, tested it and you are right. I am quite sure this did work once....

What you can still do is a manual search. I know, not what you are asking for, but its a work around...

On a similar note, is there a way to search by an iso file name instead of the DVD volume?
