I have a problem with my season folders.

The structure is as follows: ..\City Homicide\City Homicide - Seizoen 1\
I've gotten tvrename to work with this by manually changing the settings xml but I cannot find how to change the behaviour of MP-tvseries to scan this properly as each folder is seen as a series in flat structure.
Perhaps this has been answered already but I cannot find it in the forum.

I tried to add a 'simple' parsing expression in the plugin like:

<series>\<series> - Seizoen <season>\Episode <episode> - <title>.<ext>

but this doesnt work.
Anyone has a clue how to get it working?

Why not leave the season # in the filename? I have mine the same way as yours but use the full filename with season and episode.

Now that would be too easy wouldn't it ;)

No seriously, I don't give a toss whether or not the folder has the series name but the wife wants it and what the wife wants... she tends to get.
Having the series name in the file itself is no good as she regularly copies a folder for her mother and now she ends up with x-amount of folders that are named "Season 1" (ow and its not dutch either so thats a no go as well), that coupled with the fact that she does the sorting when new episodes arrive and she finds it easier when the folders include the series name.

    ... Married life

Try to remove the first <series> tag, I'm not sure what happens when multiple tags with the same name are encountered in simple expressions.

Also, pls give a complete filename, you gave your folder, but just to make sure you're episodes are named in line with your expression.

And lastely, people pls post in the Expression/rules request thread, thats what its for. Many people feel the need to open their own thread just to get more attention. I doubt my pledge will have any effect, and we don't want to be dicks about it and just delete, but pls if you read this, post there in the future.

    Thnx
