    Hi,

Been having some problems with my-tvseries getting the correct series names so tested it a bit and found out it parses the series names as the folder names.

    Examples:

    C:\TV\1\american.dad.317.avi

    Or

    C:\TV\2\american.dad.0319.avi

Is parsed as 1 or 2 as series name, using default version 1.0 with mediaportal 2.3 rc1.
Tried it with older versions as well but gave same results., here is the log file:

This is also with a clean database(deleted it manually), any ideas on why this is happening is much appreciated :)

PS: normal folder structure gives same results(c:\tv\heroes season 1 episode 1\heroes 1x01.avi etc..)

It is recommended to keep files in this directory structure:
    \Series\Season 1\Series_- _1x05_-_episode.avi
    or
    \Series\Series_-_1x05_-_episode.avi

Otherwise you may want to create your own regex to recognize your directory layout.

    you example is wrong:
    c:\tv\heroes season 1 episode 1\heroes 1x01.avi

There is no way to find series name neither season because you mixed it together.

But in previous versions it parsed the series name from the video file name didn't it?
Currently i use sabnzbd and it makes the folder structures for me(every episode in different folder), like this:

    House - 3x24 - Human Error [12345]

Because this is done automaticly it's hard to change this behaviour, and it worked perfectly before.

Then you need to modify regular expressions (regex) in Tv Series configuration to recognize it properly.

It seems that 1 folder is parsed as a show:

    Two and a Half Men - 4x23 - Anteaters. They're Just Crazy-lookin [12345]

is parsed as Two and a Half Men

    but this one isn't:

    Two and a Half Men - 4x24 - Gelato [12345]

Not a regexp expert so would need to find out which does what first, but if that's the only way i will do that.

Disabled the regexp that did the folder check, working again :D
    Thanks for the help :)

the way i've stored my episodes is in the following format

    \SeriesName\S??E?? - Episode Name.avi

    and this works perfectly

it would be good if could also detect though when have a combined episode that it could detect this

    ie

    \SeriesName\S01E01-S01E02 - FeatureLengthEpisode.avi

or can it already do this, and if so how
