This issue had been reported with the My Music plugin. What appears to be the problem is that when WMP is used for Music playback the F9 key is passed through to WMP and not just to MP. F9 in WMP is the volume down button. I beleve SteveV looked into this but could not find a solution. Ideas that were tossed up were if we could change the WMP shortcut key on entry and exit of MP it would not be a problem, however no one was able to find or change these settings.

I use directshow for music playback to get around the issue.

    Thanks thechad

After you explanation, the guilty of this problem is Windows Media Player than use the F9 key for low volume, isn´t it?
Why in a beginning work ok? the problem come after and I quit of MP and start, then work well another time.

Yes I use WMP for play music in MP
What´s your advice for fix this problem in my MP?
    change of player in MP?
    Anyone recommended?
Will be repaired by MP developers?

    Thanks a lot

Go to configuration.exe/Music. Under "General Settings" you find "Internal Music Player". Set it to "DirectShow".

If you don't use keystrokes for controlling MP, but one of MP's internally supported remote controls, this "problem" won't occur, btw.

You might wanna go to configuration.exe/General/Keys & Sounds and look for "Global actions/show context menu for currently selected item (106)". Change that key to something else and use that on your remote. This should work around your problem and you can use WMP again.
