I am trying to resolve an issue in relation to running MP on my TV using the method developed by Huma2000 and others. I have no TV card in my HTPC - used only for music and DVD's. I am told I need to select a setting for "use separate thread to render GUI" but no such option exists in MP setup. I have a separate MP install on my laptop and it does not exist there either. I s this because of the absence of a TV card, and does it matter?
