I'm totally new to MP, but have been playing with it for a couple of days. I am using an IrMan Serial to try to control MP. I did a search in the forums, and found a few posts about this, but never any answers. Somone in another post mentioned using IrServer, which I installed, but have no idea how to use. I cannot find any documentation on it, or even a good explanation of what it is even supposed to do. The issue I have is that IrMan is an option in the configuration, but after selecting the checkbox for "initialize IrMan", the config utility just hangs. I have to force it to shut down, and it reverts back to no remote.
Does anyone have a good step-by-step on how to make the IrMan work with MP? I've seen posts where others have gotten it to work. I think it would be beneficial to everyone to have this information on the boards.
