Hi!
I'm really new to this and i need some help.

Just installed MP-TV Series and imported a couple of seasons of a TV-series. When i try to watch these in MediaPortal they don't start. There's som kind of icon that looks like a crossed circle or something beside each episode, don't know if that has something to do with anything.

I tried to add these episodes as regular videos, instead of in MP-TV Serier plugin, and they worked... So it doesn't seem to be a codec issue.

Please help :)

mike2000, the MP-TVSeries.log file does not show the next step that normally shows, which is the loading of the XML skin file.

Since your MediaPortal.log reveals that you are using a custom skin, being: "StreamedMP", it could be that the problem lies in that.

Switch back to the default Blue3 or Blue3wide skin and try again (and disable any plugins that are not default if that is not enough).

If that works, then you know the problem is related to your skin (or one of the plugins), so you can try to reinstall it. The version compatible with your MediaPortal version actually uses an older version of the MP-TVSeries plugin, but I've tried the version meant for MediaPortal v1.1:

    http://streamedmp.googlecode.com/files/StreamedMP-0.9.601.exe

and it worked on my MP v1.0.2 install just fine.

If you do get it to work, then please reply that you did, so it may help others. In that case you should also edit your first post and adjust the thead icon to "Fixed". That way it will help other people with the exact same problem to find the solution in the forum easier.

Hi RoChess, thanks for the quick reply.

I tried everything you are suggesting (Blue skin / StreamedMP-0.9.601 / Reinstall TV Series) without any success. I still have the issues that if I klick on OK to start the film, nothing happens.

Anything I can look into to check what could be the issue, I mean, when I click the "ok-button" on my remote, there must be a log, right? (btw: keyboard is not working as well)

Verify in MediaPortal Configuration screen that log mode is set to 'debug'.

That way more steps are saved into the log file that might clarify what is going on.

    Yeah, it sounds really weird.

I would have immediatly jumped on a codec problem, but you stated that you tested for that already by playing it from within MediaPortal's MyMovies.

So just to confirm, your TV shows import fine and they show up in the 'details' view? And you did not adjust the configuration setting to grab the entire series/season information even when you only have 1 episode?

MP log and tvseries logs are from different timestamps, so they are conflicting and we dont know what u did.

Please attach proper logs, there is even a shortcut in the program menu to make this easy.
