I have my recording names set up in TVE3 so that it's supposed to save the filenames as:

%title% %series%x%episode% %date%

But my filenames only come out as:
Monk %series%x%episode% (2007-03-02).mpg

Does zap2it have this missing information and it's just not being downloaded, or am I forever doomed to manually renaming my episode files?

On that same note - does anyone know if the xmltv method (using Yahoo) grabs the seasonXepisode number?

Can't image what he's talking about?

    Maybe:
    - access to the computer because of a wife in bad mood?
    - access to download the latest sources because internet is down?
    - access to zap2it EPG data
    ???

However - fields are in and the remaining bugs will be fixed soon.

For a first step it would be interesting to know the format and range of your EPG's star rating.
Is it something like "5.3/10" or "3/5" or just "4"?

Not that this hasn't happened before ;)

The source data from zap2it goes from
    1 star, 1.5 stars, 2 stars, 2.5 stars, 3 stars, 3.5 stars, 4 stars

The plugin for MP stand alone converts this to a whole number out of 8.
    So 2/8, 3/8, etc.

So if MP needs an int from 0-10 to display 5 stars (including half ones) it would be enough to multiply the fetched value with 1.25 before casting to int.

SVN access is granted to Portal Developers only - do you want to join the team? That includes being "reachable" on IRC for questions and responsible at least for fixing "own" code.

Sorry for "hijacking" the thread, but i was wondering if this is possible without using Zap2It?

I'm currently Using TVE2 and living in Denmark, and would love to have the series named correctly with the episode and/or season numbers.

Right now my recorded files just turn up like: "Band of Brothers - unknownxunknown.dvr-ms"
When set to %title% - %season%x%episode%.<ext> (or something like that, can't remember excactly and the girlfriend is watching tv so can't make sure right now. :)
