Hello,
I encounter the follwing reproduceable problem, which looks for me
like a bug in the TVserver's PowerScheduler in MP1 RC2.

On the system described above I have a setup with 0.2.3 running OK.

Did a clean install from scratch with the drivers working for 0.2.3
and listed above. Installed MP1 RC2 on top of that. Used oneClick
installation, no HD support.

The system works fine so far, with the PowerSchduler of the server.
The system woke up form standby properly, but I noticed the very
common problem with the SkyStar 2 card - it provides no tv stream,
after the system is woken up from standby.
Therefore I activate the "Reinit service on wakeup" option in the
PowerScheduler configuration. (see attached screendumps of my
server configuration).
Since I activated that, TV works properly, if I wake up the system
MANUALLY, but the system does no more wake up for scheduled
recordings!!

After disabling the "Reinit service", wake up for recording starts
working well again, but I get no recordings on the disk, since the
TVcard is not reinitialized. Switching TV manually on produced the
well known error "no graph...".

So I did one dedicated testcase yesterday and attach the logfiles
form this test here.

The test scenario was:

19:59 rebooted HTPC and verified TV is working (cleared logfiles before)
20:01 scheduled a recording from 20:15 - 20:40,
put system into standby (S3)
20:11 nothing happened
20:46 manually reactivated system,
verifyed that TV is properly working (so reinit was OK).
Scheduled recording is still visible in server config tool.
20:47 collected logfiles.

While looking at the logfiles I see an exception right around the
time I scheduled the recording or put the system into sleep mode:

2008-07-30 20:01:16.506000 [PowerEventThread]: TV service PowerEventThread:
Exception: System.NullReferenceException: Der Objektverweis wurde nicht auf
eine Objektinstanz festgelegt.

Perhaps that is a trace of the PowerScheduler crashing and therefore
doing no more activities to wake up the system.

I really hope that you could fix that or tell me what I need to
change.

Thanks,
Markus

Hello,

thanks for your responses !
I overlooked the other thread, yes it seems to be the same problem.

I'll check the latest SVN,
Markus
