I have my server working with 2 tuners. I can tune channels in, and then manually view the stream using vlc on 2 other machines (1 is my normal computer and the other is my mediaportal client). I have installed the tv client on the 2nd computer but it refuses to connect to the sql server (I've enable remote connections in the sql service settings). I've included the log. Anyone got any ideas?

when starting the tv-server the first time. and it asked you for the IP-adress/hostname of the SQL-server.

    have you entered 127.0.0.1 there?
if yes -> thats the fault

also FILL OUT THE HARDWARESPECIFICATION PLEASE!!!!!!

    which tv-cards do you use?
if you use the Skystar2 you will have to change a setting to get streaming done on the corrct NIC.

I have 2 nebula digitv usb units. Do you mean when the server asked me, or on the client when it asks for the ip of the server?

Yes, sounds very similar indeed. Saying that though, I was still impressed with what I saw - I had 2 pcs streaming and my xbox playing back the timeshifting file.
