Services error when attempting to install MP2 (1 Viewer)

Greetings All - newbie here
I'm getting an error when attempting to install MP2:
Error 1064: An Exception occurred in the service when handling the control request.
Then: 0x80070643 - Fatal error during installation.
Machine is win10 with 16 g of ram, SSD HD for C: and another 1TB SSD for F:
I tried changing the credentials on the service to my login (administrator equiv) but same issue persists.
Anyone else seen this error or know of a solution?
