Set Resolution for MP independent from Desktop (1 Viewer)

Hello,

i would like to set the Resolution for MP independent from the Desktop because i don't use the PC for MP exklusively. E.g. i would like to set 1024x768 for MP and keep my native resolution of 1280x1024 when MP is not running. I always run MP in Fullscreen and the best resoultion for TV-Out is 1024x768 but for my attached TFT is the best resoultion 1280x1024.

I hope this feature would be regarded usefull by other users and some developer is willing to implement this.

I would also like to see this.

This is one thing i liked about Media Centre as you set a different resolution for media centre than your desktop.

And for me, its more then for convenience as Media Centre seems to handle the HDTV resolutions better than when you set your desktop resolution to 1029 x 1080 and MP adopts to fit

I do not use a nvidia card on my mp machine but it seems that a small batch with multires will do the job. And it's freeware for personal use too!

Anyway it would be nice to setup resoultion directly in mediaportal.

Yeah thanks for the info but just wondering, thats for 576p what about for 1080i?
