Right, so up to now ive been running MP 1.0.1 on an XP master htpc with the specs below VV.
i recently bought a laptop though with Vista Home Premium pre installed and wanted to use it as a client that runs over a wireless LAN from the master htpc to stream TV, MyFilms TVSeries, Music and Pictures.
So far everything has been straight forward in streaming all my video and music files.. however, TV doesnt seem to work at all for me.
when i setup MP i configure it as a client so that it installs mediaportal + TV server/client, but when i try and open mediaportal configuration it hangs and i have to close MP through task manager. Only when i uninstall TVserver/client on the laptop will MP happily run everything normally (i can watch video files with MyFilms, TVSeries and listen to music and view my photos).
anyone got any suggestions what im doing wrong?
