The standard settings for series recordings causes problems with preview generating/thumb creation.
Because a lot of providers don't provide series-info like season, episode name or number.
This will result in recordings like 'Seinfeld.ts' No problem when you have just one recording of that series....but it is when you have several!

Although the different maps on the HDD are created for the dates, the actual date is NOT in the filename! This will make that all recordings of the same show/series have the same thumbnails/previews!

This can be simply solved by adding the string for the date and/or time in the filename.

OK, I see your point...and that's what I did.
But it is something that can simply be improved by you devs to get a more 'ready out of the box' MP version for more people . That's what we all strive for, for the 1.1 final release isn't it?

It's more logical to add the date to series recordings then the current standard setting because this causes the same preview for all recordings for a lot of people.
I see this as a bug in the standard solution, but which can be worked around.

with a target of 1.2.0. This does not necessarily mean that the team have changed their minds about this, but it is under discussion/consideration.
