setup problems (1 Viewer)

hi all
ive just moved my server to a new cmputer and i'm having trouble setting up irss on the new computer, on the last pc it was running wihout hitch for at least a year so this if really frustrating!

So the problem well i'm using mediaportal 1.2 beta with irss 1.4.2.4189 trying to blast with mce ir blaster and sky stb

if i set up irss i can test from within the irss tab and can sucsesfully blast a channel change however as soon as i go to manual control the blaster doesent blast anything.

irss is installed as an application.

I just have to ask: Did you try rebooting?
Second time in a week I read a familiar IRSS problem. Sadly it is also second time in a week I've forgot how I solved the problem.

PS: Attaching your logs might be a good idea

hi i did reboot but i was still the same

last night i completley uninstall irss reboted and then istalled it as a service after a reboot and setting back up it was still the same i will post some logs tonight whe i get home.

i see in the second error log it staits user sa cant log in would this affect the blasting of ir?

I must admit that the DB login problem seems weird, but maybe someone with more knowledge about that can help with it.
Regarding the blasting, Can you please verify as per screenshots in the following post that you set it up correctly:
