Hello,

there are several SAT channels (Like Euronews, RTR..), which still do not work. The problem is that the first frame always freezes on the screen.

To reproduce:
just start MediaPortal in a fullscreen mode and try to tune to the one of the channels: Euronews (Astra 19.2) or RTR(Hotbird 13.0).

The channels can be recorded without any problem.
I have Vista Home Premium 32Bit, use EVR with Floppy DTV S2 with the latest firmware. All other details are in "my system". i post my logs here (Log level: DEBUG).

I have the exact same problem (has been like that for a while, at least 3 weeks), for me its several channels on both 1.0W (Thor) and 5.0E (Sirius), doesnt matter what codec, problem exists even on TV Server (No Audio/Video message)

Build 17587 was the last one I tested that I know it worked in.

Edit: Mostly triggered if you switch around channels, easiest way to trigger the problem is to choose preview (from configurator) on same channel again, if it worked first one or two times, it wont the third.

I've tried to use different codecs (ATI AVIVO, Cyberlink 7.3 or ffdshow etc.) but it does not solve the problem.

i can confirm this behaviour on Euronews (Astra 19.2). i can not test the other channels since i only have Astra19.2 here.

    it is in ::mantis:: now.
you can see that its targeted to be fixed in RC2 in our ::roadmap::.

:D for testing, and the decent bugreport.

Already seen... and always present. The (strange :( ) root cause is monaural mpeg2 audio...

Using SPDIFER with MPEG over SPDIF works. ( Cyberlink AUdio Codec and MPA dont'work ).

In TsReader, Audio pin and Video pin begin to get data normally, then Video pin stops after ~2secs.
Audio pin continue normally to get data ( Silly , isn't it ! ), but Video and audio are frozen.....

( Seems it exist a direct interaction between Audio and video codecs )

In France we've at least 10 channels like that ....

    Regards.

    Ambass.

I'm getting the same problems on UK DVB-S S2 & DVB-T, I'd found previously that changing to DScaler audio codec resolved the same initial problem with Disco Turbo, ie first frame then nothing.
I'm also getting now, channel change and no audio, switch tv off then back on, audio then present, as if the graph is not rebuilding on change from or to, mpeg/AC3.
Logs att. don't know if they are any help, as I havn't had a crash.

Try FFDShow, as its capable of running multiple instances of itself should resolve this (Audio only).
