I recently bought this system prior to knowing about media portal, but I'm very impressed with the software and would definately like to use it. However i bought this hauppauge card:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16815116606

without knowing that it was software based (hauppage has an incredibly confusing product line). It works fine with snapstream beyond tv and the software that came with it but it won't work with media portal. I followed the instructions here:

https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/newthread.php?do=postthread&f=54

and it didn't work. I still get the unable to create graph error. Should i just return this card or will it be supported in further releases? Is there something i missed? thanks!

I would go for a PVR-150 which shouldn't be much more expensive. Although it may be possible to make your tuner work with Media Portal, I think that it's better to go for a proved and tested configuration to avoid spending time.
