Show all for Artist (1 Viewer)

I've noticed a problem but I think it's more a design oversight than a bug in MP. If when viewing music by artist, unless the song you wish to play is under an album, you can't view it to play it. If you select the view to show all songs etc then you can see the track. Is there a way to play a song from an artist which isn't in an album without having to go through the tracks listing (which can take forever to load). Also, a final question, is there a way to play all songs under an artist and not just one albums worth? Thanks.

Now that there is an "Album Artist" view, I have left the "Album" level out of the "Artist" view (see attached). This is reasonably fast, because it only needs to select/display all tracks of the chosen artist. Try it out!
