Just wanted to get some quick feedback on my 1920x1080 skin I've been working on.
The design is trying to be as simple as possible, so some features of MediaPortal are simply not visible.
I'm pretty far from done, but work on it may slow to a crawl at this point because I've done all the screens that I actually use (for instance, I don't even use MediaPortal's TV functionality because I use my DirecTV TiVo) but if enough people are interested in it from these screenshots I may turn over most of what I've done for somebody else to finish.
Screenshots 1 and 3 were taken with fullscreen video playback going in the background (my skin uses no video overlay... all screens are designed to be useable with video wallpaper working as the default thanks to BG Hack) while I included 4 just to get an idea of a non-list view. For the curious the buttons across the top do highlight/become-less-transparent when selected. I also had to make the fonts bigger because my old eyes are goin'.
Thanks to the recent SVN change that enabled selected thumbs to be shown in a big image in list view.
The screens are taken at 1360x768 because that's what my TV runs. I bought a new 1920x1080p one but UPS lost it in Chicago.
Some of the graphics haven't been redone yet, either (like the spin controls, still shamelessly borrowed from BlueTwo).
