I am working on a plugin that will download the Zap2It data natively from inside MP and also includes the feautre from my mapper to use "friendly" names for the channels instead of the generic ones from Zap2It.

I'll let you all know once i got a testable version done. For now, enjoy my XMLTVmapper.

Kees I trust, when you grasp the XMLTV details in you mind, you will contribute by enriching the wiki right?

BTW, WebEPG didn't seem so confusing when I tried (I'd say the instructions where very simple).

In the end though, I am using TVxb like I did with GB-PVR (changed nothing except I matched the names of the channels in the ini). Works fine.

So are you volunteering to help improve it?

This whole project is worked on by volunteers. REMEMBER THAT!!!!

If you are a programmer, you can help with the coding. If you can't then you can help with the documentation. You clearly know where there are shortfalls so it shouldn't be hard to do. If you have any questions or need help, we are more than willing to give you all the help you need provided you don't start bagging us and demanding answers like some people have been doing recently.

We all look forward to your improved wiki with anticipation.

MP is by far the least user-friendly PVR when it comes to channel setup. I was determined to try MP but I refuse to add every channel by hand.
    add every channel by hand????
    you missed autotune?

try WebEPG, much easier to configure than XMLTV

i am sorry but our wiki system is quite easy to use.

but understanding the meaning of your post is quit hard, because of the amount of typing errors.
