I would like to configure MP so that I always come back to "Home" when I press "The Green Button" (TGB) on my remote control (RC). This is currently the case, unless I am already on the "Home" screen. It even works if MP isn't running, because I have "MCE Replacement Tray", which starts MP when I press TGB in Windows. Unfortuantely, if I am already on "Home", MP switches to "Basic Home". I would like to use TGB as part of an RC macro to always put MP in a known condition before hibernating. It has to be a "Home" screen, or MP won't go back to sleep after recordings and EPG updates. It is important for WAF that MP always present the same "face" after resuming.
I have already tried the following workarounds without success:
1. Replacing "BasicHome.xml" in the skins directory (in my case, Blue Two wide) with a copy of Home.xml.
2. Changing the definition of TGB in MP config from ACTION_SWITCH_HOME to ACTION_HOME (see attached).
I am currently using the latest SVN (16163). Who has found an effective fix for this?
