Skin Changes - IMPORTANT FOR ALL SKINNERS (1 Viewer)

To keep track of changes in MediaPortal that affect skins - use the Wiki.

1. All changes are now recorded under Mediaportal 1 > Contribute > Skins > Skin Related Changes
2. A separate section and index is provided for each major release of MediaPortal.
3. So, for changes in MediaPortal 1.2.0 see 1.1.0 to 1.2.0

In addition, changes that affect specific skin controls are also indexed as a changelog on each skin control page under Skin Architecture > Skin Controls. Skinners should already be familiar with the Skin Architecture section of the Wiki.

To receive notifications via email of all changes made to the Related Skin Changes Wiki pages: See: Wiki Help > Notifications

There is no longer any need to post sticky threads for each change. These should all be entered in Wiki.

The sticky posts for skin changes were getting numerous, and did not provide a complete list of all changes. However, In order not to lose any relevant information, all previous Skin Change threads/posts have been consolidated in the Skin Changes - Discussion thread. Any further discussion regarding Skin Changes or the related Wiki pages can be done here, in this thread.
