I'm refresing the MP Gold 1366x768 skin for version 0.2.3.0.

I ran into problems with the mytvprogram.xml file. The code does not seem to respect the skinning commands from the xml file. Has anyone else encountered this problem?

The effect is that the menu list doesn't show properly, navigation in the menu doesn't work properly and the program list doesn't show at all.

In order to resolve this I started from scratch with the mytvprogram.xml file from Blue Two wide (which works fine, but is not what I want for my skin) and made the changes one by one, using the refresh plugin to check every change. This went OK for almost everything I wanted to change except changing the menu from a stack group to a menu group, there the page broke. So I undid the last change, did a refresh, worked ok. But when I restarted MP the page broke again, even if it did not with the refresh ...

Of course I can start from scratch and do all changes again, checking the changes one by one with a restart to find where it breaks, but that would take my complete holiday break ...

What I know is that the page breaks when changing the menu from a stack group to a menu group. The 0.2.3.0 skin uses the menu group for all other menus, the 0.2.2.0 skin uses this without any problems for all menus. I want to use this to be able to standardize the menu button spacing.

    Anybody seen this before?

    Update.

Of course I couldn't leave it and started from scratch, checking every change with a restart. I quickly ran into the first issue.

I didn't want the 'current program channel' (ID 16) to show, so I removed it. If the control is not in the xml file the page breaks. I now moved it off the screen. All OK so far. But I have more changes to make.

I hope this info will be helpful some day for anybody else running into this issue.
