Here's another skinning engine bug that's been around awhile. It seems like mp is ignoring the <selectedColor> tag for thumbnailpanel controls. To replicate this bug:

i've attached a references.xml which has the lines:
<selectedColor>ffff0000</selectedColor>
<textcolor>ff00ff00</textcolor>
under
<control>
<description>default thumbnail panel</description>
<type>thumbnailpanel</type>

What this is supposed to do is make all the text below a thumbnail green (ff00ff00), except for the currently selected thumbnail, which should be red (ffff0000). However, all thumbnails are shown in green including the selected one.

if you put the attached references.xml into your bluetwo skin directory you'll be able to replicate the problem!
