Skins for MP 1.0.0 (1 Viewer)

I am using MP for some months now and I really like the fact that you can change the appearance of MP so that you can get rid of the boring blue of WMC

I really like dark skins like StreamedMP, Xfactor and Xface, the one I use right now. Only problem with Xface is the fact that de Video Editor doesn't work as it should. So I'd like to try another skin.

When I search this forum most of the skins support MP version 1.0.1 and/or 1.0.2 but version1.0.0 isn't mentioned in the sticky threads. I am still using 1.0.0 and I am very happy with that and I don't want to start all over again with 1.0.1 or 1.0.2.

My question is: are there links to older versions of the skins? I know that you can "fool" Mediaportal by changing the reference to the version but I don't know if that is such a good solution. If anybody has good experiences with that I'd like to hear that as well

Hey Den70, I am assuming you are using a widescreen since you were using XFace. You should put your system specs in the User CP (Control Panel). See the box at the top left of the forum menu bar to get there. It's really helpful when trying to get replies.

I do know that version 2.8 of Monochrome included files for 1.0.0 support. I haven't checked out 2.9 yet so I don't know if it does. There may be other skins that do as well, but that's the one I know does for sure.

There were some changes between 1.0.0 and 1.0.1 that required skin changes (see MediaPortal1_Development/SkinArchitecture/MP_1_0-to-1_0_1 - MediaPortal Manual Documentation) Particularly Recorded TV if you use that feature.

If you want a 4:3 skin aMPed also supports 1.0.2 and includes files to support 1.0.0.
