Hi,

I guess what I miss with Mediaportal vs. say Vista is the skip ahead 30 sec skip back 10 sec feature. In MyVideo I wouild prefer a skip ahead feature as opposed to always using the FF and RW.

Is this possible/ there ?

MCE remote (and others), left\right arrow buttons do this, set your skip steps you want in MP config\general\skipsteps, either enable or disable defaults or add custom, ie 240 for 4 mins, great for those adverts that have a pretty much set time interval

Actually I had it enabled all along; just didn't have the remote mapped properly.

Does the skip step feature work with mpg files? I can't get it working.
