Hi, havent tried this plugin but have an idea i have been trying to get together for some time. Since you already have the framework ready i will share it here. Lets say you have a "control" mode in the skype plugin and create a MP user in skype. This could enable me to write commands to MP and get some output. It will be a very sophisticated remote control as an alternative to the webinterface.Lets say you want to show todays recordings, you can just send a msg to MP like "Show next TV shows". MP will then report back to you with a list of today´s recordings. Then you can pick one and send back "Record XXX". You could also do things like "What is playing", "Stop", "Play some music", "Dim the lights" and stuff like that. Also, MP could send status messages on events, like "Movie has started, Lord of the rings". The possibilites are endless.Ok, this is not the most practical plugin. But it has a high gadget factor. Also, Skype goes through NAT so you dont need all that router setup and DynDNS crap you need for a webinterface. And with the framework allready set up i dont think it is that much extra coding. Allthough i dont remember how to query all those recording and such, but i know there is a class somewhere storing it.What do you think?
