However, to be honest, even ignoring MP, I can't see any advantage in this product over Skype's Video-calling (apart from possibly multi-video conferencing)?The problem with (Skype) Video Calls in MP is that I can't grab the video stream and present it in an MP video window, the way it is possible to redirect the audio stream to different devices. I don't think that the Video4IM will allow me to do this, either. OTOH, if there was an API that would allow me to capture a V4IM video stream and present it in an MP window (preferably using existing MP stream presentation functionality), then we'd be in business (zero-profit business since it's all open source, of course, but in business! ).Finally, I'd always be concerned that V4IM looks like it might intend to be commercial (once it's out of test - it's currently V0.8.5 which I assume is kind of Beta-ish at best), and if we had built it into an MP plugin, that would present problems of a kind I think we wouldn't really want...But thanks for suggesting it (and if my understanding of V4IM is incorrect, please let me know!) - I really do want to get Video Calling done one day...
