Skystar 2 remote (1 Viewer)

Hello,

I want to get my Skystar 2 remote working with Mediaportal RC3. I didn't find a tutorial or something else.

I have another PC with a Hauppauge Nova S-Plus. There I only have to activate the remote in the setup.
Where can I do this with the SS2 remote?

I tried Winlirc, but without success. Whats about girder, is there a tutorial available?

I think the Skystar 2 is a popular tv-card, so it is strange for me that there is no official way to get it working.


Is there anybody who has a running Mediaportal with the SS2 remote?


I would write a tutorial for the wiki if someone can help me to get it working!

Hi there, use the USB remote with HIP http://www.byremote.com.au/downloads/default.asp?SCLASS=HIP

You have to set the input configuration in HIP to Keyboard, then you can use 80% of the keys by reassigning them as keypresses in line with the keys and sounds configuration page within MP.
