Hello Everyone! I've found MP on the web recently and decided to give it a try. I must say that MP is amazing. However, i've got into problems setting up MP 1.2.2 with my SkyStar S2 PCI card to work under Windows 7. I installed the lastest drivers from technisat (v4.6.0 b2c2) and all went ok. Than I was trying to search for channels on Eutelsat W4@36°. DVBViewer found all channels and played FTAs ok. I should mention that i also have STB (Openbox S8 HD) for everyday use and it's working with no problem. But when I started channel search from MP it was saying "No signal" for each transponder. I installed 4.5.1 B2C2 drivers for SkyStar S2 PCI. After that MP was able to find all the channels. At the moment, "preview" button on TVServer configuration page works for any DVB-S MPEG2 FTA channel. But it does NOT work for DVB-S2 MPEG4 FTA channel. No error message boxes, just empty preview window with gray background and many errors in tswriter.log like "Recorderid 71 Continuity error... 9 ( prev 5 ) - bad signal?" At the same time DVBViewer can play this channel just fine. So maybe MP cannot play mpeg4 dvb-s2 channels with SkyStar S2 B2C2 drivers? Or maybe it's a well known problem that i found no information about? p.s. i have no logs right now, but i can provide them later.
