Skystar2 problem with RC3 (1 Viewer)

Hello,
it's a my first topic.

I have problem with ultimate version MP 0.02.RC3 and old version type RC2, with configuration my DVD-S card Technisat Skystar2 2.6c, with driver original 4.3.0 (i used the modified skynet.sys Mibi for Motor disq).
In setup television card i press add and open a window error "Unable to create graph for this device!".
I have another card installed Hauppage PVR150 MCE, with
similar problem.

In my capturecarddefinition.xml not present the driver Technist it's a problems?

Please, help me!

If you read the news you would have seen our bug tracking system link.
There you would have seen some bugs pertaining to the SS2.

The SS2 is mostly fixed now in CVS

I grabbed the April 5th code, and mediaportal still doesn't see my skystar2 card (or even the ati radeon all in wonder anymore for that matter, which it saw on the 0.2 RC3 code.) If I can be of any help in this matter, just let me know.

So after reading that, I uninstalled mediaportal, reinstalled 0.2 RC3, then dropped todays SVN ontop, and still 'no capture cards found' even though there's 2 on my PC. Any help for me on how to fix this? I noticed there is no reference to skystar or ss2 in the 'capture cards definitions' file... is that a problem?

No, B2C2 is hard coded into MP.
Did you delete the entire Folder of your former install?

@DEV Since 04.04. (caching of graphs) AC3 with timeshift code is broken again!

yes I did. and remember, my ati card doesn't show up now either.

How does mytheatre fit into this... should I not be running it at all (my guess), running it first then stopping it, then trying mediaportal, or running both somehow. What about that PCserver program... I assume that's not invloved either?

have you Setup4PC program running ?

If not, It's why your card is not found.

I definitely remember reading on this site in a setup guide which I can't find now, that even though it was originally said that you have to have setup4pc running, it was later discovered that you definitely don't need it running. I can't find where I read that now.

But I tried it anyway. I started up setup4pc, which I've never used for anything, plugged in the correct numbers that made it green, but still no capture cards found.

But I really appreciate your suggestion. Thank you for trying to help me.

Another thing that seems possibly suspicious to me... under device manager, the card is listed as 'TechniSat DVB-PC TV Star PCI' driver version '4.3.2.9999' ... is that right?

strange, Skystar2 is working flawless with latest SVN-Snapshots here.
