note: MediaPortal always determins a signal level of 0 for the Skystar2. even when it is working. seems like the dirvers do not support the sharing of the signal level?

This can be repeated endlessly. somethimes it works. soemtimes it doesnt.
Additional information:
I have tested the same precedure 10 times with an Hauppauge NOVA-T USB2 Stick.
It NEVER showed this behaviour. MyTV always showed the selected channel.
It seems like this is a Skystar2 specific issue.

Test3:
repeated this test 10 times. starting timeshift in manual control always worked.
VLC was always able to connect to the stream over the lan.

"no Video/Audio detected also occurs in manual control!"

- start MediaPortal
- enter MyTV
- tune SAT.1
- MyTV displays "no video/audio detected"

- enter manual control
- start TS for SAT.1 (on Skystar2)
- TV-Server started timeshift
- start VLC on PC in the LAN and connect to the stream
- works. VLC can display the stream.
repeated this test 10 times. starting timeshift in manual control always worked.
VLC was always able to connect to the stream over the lan.
