    Hi,

I use the slideshow when I play MP3-Playlists at partys to make the screen more interesting. Sadly after a couple-pictures I got a blank screen and the error “not enough memory”. The Playlist for the mp3 is not affected.

At the start the usage of the RAM and the usage of the GPU-RAM is normal. During the slideshow the usage of the GPU-RAM increases. Whren the dedicated GPU-RAM is in full use, the error occurred. The common GPU-Memory is not in use, the usage of the RAM is normal.

At my Media-PC (8GB-RAM, 2GB GPU-RAM, 4GB common GPU-RAM, Windows 11 latest, all drivers latest, Team Mediaportal 1.36) the error occurred after more or less 350 to 400 pictures.

I tried the same with my laptop PC (32GB-RAM, 16GB GPU-RAM, Windows 11 latest, all drivers latest, Team Mediaportal 1.36). The same error occurred, although a couple of hundreds of pictures later.

Is there an easy fix for the problem?

    thanks in advance

    Hi,
it seems there is a certain issue related to SharpDX texture disposing called from dtor. Well, I was unable to reproduce your memory crash even after reaching full GPU Memory but I made a fix in GUIPictures plugin so there shouldn't be a memory leak anymore. Please try the patched dll (1.36) plugin from attached file and let me know your result. Backup the original file first.
