Slow GUI unless watching DVD (1 Viewer)

This is a problem i've already posted here:

The GUI is slow and jerky, unless I play a DVD and minimize it, which makes the GUI very smooth. I've had it in and with two different videocards now.

I've tried a lot of settings like V-sync, Exclusive mode etc. but with no result.

    1) Make sure MP window has focus (GUI engine doesnt render at full speed when the focus is on some other application.
    2) Its possible to change the GUI FPS setting inside MP (somewhere under settings...). The default value is 25FPS, but for example DVD playback will increase the FPS to 50/60 depending on the DVD content.
