snazzi III usb 2 (EVO Edition) - help (1 Viewer)

Straight up - MediaPortal is awesome. I've messed about with Myth & MCE and MediaPortal is by far the easiest app to get up and running. The new skins are slick.

I have an installation of MediaPortal currently working with a Dvico Dual Fusion PCI/USB card. Everything is working flawlessly and I receive the full complement of DVB-T digital FTA channels.

Hoping that I'd be able to "integrate" with Foxtel (yup - I'm from Oz) I invested in a Snazzi III USB2 (EVO Edition) "box" with a view of connecting up with the SVHS or Composite output from my set top box. I can see there's a reference to Snazzi III USB2 being a supported hardware analogue tuner/input.

Everything seems to be recognised when adding the "Television Card" in MediaPortal Setup (ie I can see three cards, the 2 Dvico and 1 Snazzi) and I've added what I think is the correct CVBS#1 channel to my lineup and associated it with the Snazzi "card".

When I attempt to view the new channel, I'm getting either:
1. "no tuner can receive:cvbs#1", or
2. black screen with "no signal" message box.

I'm running MediaPortal Release 0.2.0.0.

From the status lights on the Snazzi box I can see it attempting to swap to the correct input, but alas no picture, and the little "Record" light on the box doesn't light up, as if to indicate the software doesn't have a fix on the input.

The Snazzi box works well with its included MovieMill software.

Any ideas what I may have missed? Anyone else managed to get this combo to work?

Apologies if this is going over old territory. I've taken a look through the forum and can't see anything that's applicable to this specific device.

(Maybe I'm just being greedy? :wink: )
