    Synopsis:: -

    Hi,

    I'm getting "No Signal" after a few minutes when watching analog tv channels. The problem occurs every time when I try to watch any analog channel in MediaPortal. I've tried Hauppauges WinTV application and it works 100%.

    I've got two DVB-T tuners in my HTPC which both works 100%.

    Just before the "No Signal" pop-up occurs the following is shown in the log file:
    2006-08-13 00:11:56 6 VMR9Helper: playing->repaint 0

    Followed by:
    2006-08-13 00:12:01 WindowManager:route MediaPortal.GUI.TV.GUIFullScreenTV:602->MediaPortal.Dialogs.GUIDialogNotify:2016
    2006-08-13 00:12:01 window:MediaPortal.Dialogs.GUIDialogNotify init
    2006-08-13 00:12:06 WindowManager:unroute to MediaPortal.Dialogs.GUIDialogNotify:2016->MediaPortal.GUI.TV.GUIFullScreenTV:602
    2006-08-13 00:12:06 Notify Message:Cartoon Network - Kabel, Ingen signal!

    Our cable provider isn't a proper cable provider, they have placed a satelite dish on our apartment building - maybe you could call it satelite via cable. I've chosen cable as input source when scanning for channels in MP config.

    I've pasted the full log in the "pastebin":

    Many thanks,
    Martin

    Just a small update, I upgraded Nvidia Purevideo to version 1.02-223 but the problem is still there.

    Restarting MediaPortal solves the problem gets the picture back.

    Problem solved, talked to my provider. It seems that they had removed my access to the pay tv channels by "mistake".

    Pretty bad error handling in MP though, if a "No Signal" occurs MP is unable to show the free channels.
