Hi lads,
I got a little problem getting MP 0.2 to run with a PCI WinTV-Card (model unknown, got it from a co-worker). I didn't get any drivers, so I downloaded and installed the drivers of the hauppauge.de-driver site, rebooted the computer, but there were still unknown devices in the device manager. So Windows connected to Windows Update and another reboot later I now have the following devices in my list:
I then installed the WinTV Application and it works flawlessly. When installing MP 0.2, I haven't received any errors (I deinstalled older versions of MP beforehand by "Add/remove Software"), but when starting the application and going to watch TV, the "unable to create graph" error message was displayed. I got into the mp setup, removed the card which is displayed as "Hauppauge WinTV Capture (Hauppauge WinTV 878 based)" which should be correct. I then tried to add the card again and received the following error:
"Unable to create graph for this device!!"
The error is displayed twice. Here is an extract from the log files which describes the problem:
I tried searching this forum for the "unable to create graph" errors, but none of the solutions helped to understand/fix the error and get the WinTV card to run with MP.
Does anyone have some pointers for me? Any more information I should provide for you?
Many thanks,
Sol

I tried searching this forum for the "unable to create graph" errors, but none of the solutions helped to understand/fix the error and get the WinTV card to run with MP.
Does anyone have some pointers for me? Any more information I should provide for you?
Many thanks,
Sol
