I seem to be having a problem with about 50% of my high definition recordings since upgrading to RC2. When trying to play certain ones, the audio plays, but the video does not (just black screen). Some old recordings that played fine in RC1 now wont play in RC2. Roughly 50% do play fine (out of maybe 20 that ive tried).

The transport stream files that wont play in media portal play fine with haali media splitter in any other directshow player.

The same problem happens with RC2 and the latest SVN as of today.

This is a completely clean installation with no skins/plugins etc.

Ive replicated the problem in the attached logs

Any help would be much appreciated - I might try reverting to RC1 just to double check that something in RC2 has indeed broken playback

Seems mtn takes too much in your env:

please try disable thumb generation or leave it for some minutes idle in the video folders before attempting to play a file.

It is all about detecting video from ts file and now it is considered as recorded radio. This might affect to live TV also. We have to make radio/TV detection more robust when creating graph.

Let me know if you'd like me to upload another (I have quite a few more)

Tried running the file through eac3to. It reports that the video track contains a "(Probably incorrect) full range flag". Dont know if this has any relavance.

Playing the .ts in WMP gives no sound, 3 secs black and then video.
