Hi I have also noticed that some movies will not auto-match, but there are so few that I usually just get the IMDB-ID and enter that into the movie's metadata....and then auto-match will pick it up.
Go to this web page " Avatar - Aufbruch nach Pandora (2009) - IMDb " type the name of the movie you are looking for in the search box and hit go, results will show below, click the result you want. The last part of the address - URL " tt0499549 " is the IMDB-ID.
Just create a .nfo file or a .txt file with the IMDB # in it starting with the tt and it will match the # and place it with the movie and name it the same as the movie is named.
And make sure under (Importer Settings) in the movingpictures config (Enable NFO Scanner) is checked an that (Auto Approve on NFO File IMDB Match) is also checked.
All you have to do is to in the "Movie Importer" select the movie, click on the Binoculars-icon.....fill in the name, year & IMDB-ID and click on OK. If the movie was matched incorrectly before, just go to the "Movie Manager" select 'Move to Importer" and follow the same process.
I've tried that, but it doesn't work. When I use the IMDB-ID for "Gunsmoke - The last stand", the importer finds "Have I Got News for You". I've used that technique on some of the movies, but for the movies I listed it does not work.
If you go to "Movie Manager" in the configuration, find the movie with the wrong information you can double click on the information line and edit it to the correct information from the IMDB web page. (copy and Paste)
My problem is that I would like to switch from Kodi to Mediaportal. In Kodi, putting an Extras folder in the same folder as the movie automatically manages all the extras on the Bluray, so my library is organized in this way. Moving everything would be a very long job (I have more than 2800 movies), plus I would lose the Extras...

Hello all,
Recently I have been having a few problems importing movies to Moving Pictures using the IMDB+ plugin (missing fields) so I have decided to have a go at creating an XML based on the XBMC Local xml. This has not been tested with multi languages and it has been configured for my personal collection. I'm hoping it will work...
