some movies not imported in moving pictures 1 beta (1 Viewer)

Hello. I have got this problem that just recently have started happening. I don't knoiw if it is a bug or just something weird with my system. Anyhow what is happening is that some movies on one of my htpcs can't import new movies. When I go in the configuration and check the movie dosn't show there eighter. When I browse all my movies in configuration they are all red but points to the mounted share u:\ or v:\ where the movies are. I can start the movies fine in wmp or even in moving pictures in mediaportal.

If I try to update mediainfo on a dvd image movie in the configuration I get an error saying MediaInfo could not update for Cry_Wolf (in this matter) because the media is not avaliable. Please insert the media and try again.

Funny thing is that the movie points to the right folder and is pmountable with deamon tools and I can play it fine through movingpictures in mp

I ahve also oincluded my mediaportal.log wich is kinda funny, as you can see it tells me the fielis unknown: 05-Dec-2009 02:48:52 Debug [VideoFormatExtension]: Failed Identifier: Path='U:\American.Pie.The.Book.Of.Love.2009.img', Format='Unknown'

and then it finds all info but ignores it completely. On my other htpc (wich has all the movies on its harddrive it scans fine and all is ok) I have of corse set up videos in mediaportal config to use both .img .iso and all other video formats I use .

So is this something known and that it s just me doing something silly that have caused this to happen or is it a bug I should report ?

Looks like you forgot the mediaportal.log file.

Since this is an img file and Daemon Tools is in play, perhaps MediaPortal is not configured correctly. Under General -> Daemon Tools, is the configuration setup as such that it does not cause any problems? You are using a network drive, which by itself can sometimes cause little issues, and then ontop of that you kick in DT to mount an image. So configure MediaPortal otherwise to launch in windowed mode (and not full screen), so you can keep track on what is happening in the background easier. The log files help (especially if things occur faster then you can see), but you might see the problem visually as well.

yes deamon tools is set up correctly. I can start all movies in my list that is both iso and img files. using both moving pictures and mp's videos thing. Anyhow. I will test without fullscreen and see what is happening. but it seems weird in mediaportal configuration / movingpictures that it telles me disc is not inserted
