Now this is odd, and I'm not pointing at MP here -
I recorded some TV the other day and the files are there (*.TS streams). I checked them (don't ask) and they played the first few minutes OK.
A few days later went to watch them and they didn't play!
'Stuffit - MP playing up'
Press play and it sits for a moment, then the screen 'blinks' and we're back in control of the [Recorded} menu - just like it had played and come to the end.
Tried changing the codecs (there seem to be about a dozen what with MPs own, Floppy DTV, NVidia, and the Blu Ray Power ones).
Well, no, none worked (sorry MP) I tried the files using VLC player and that just gave a blank picture and no sound too.
So somehow the TS files seem to be duff. But they ARE big GB sized files.
It gets odder, I've made recordings since and they are fine.
Anyone have any ideas how I can 'fix' these files or even just see if they've got ANYTHING on them?
Ho hum, all this just to watch 'House'...
