For exmample, battlestar galactica season 4. The importer finds it and puts it in the database, with NO info - just puts it in order (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 ...).

I tried to manual import, and selected the correct episode, but it still shows up blank in the DB... any idea???

I take that back, MyTVSeries says "Could not be matched online, see if it exists in the database." I'm using the default - mytvdb.com . Yes, it exist.

It does it some with some heroes episodes, lost, deadwood, battlestart.... seems random. I have no idea what the deal is, but it's driving me crazy.

hello,

i was having the same problem as you - after trawling through previous threads, i think i've resolved the issue - try selecting "aired" rather than "dvd" or "absolute" when importing your tv shows.

a number of members have reported success in using this method.

i am just in the process of reimporting all my tv shows, and from the logs it is looking MUCH better after choosing "aired" for all tv shows (i can see it downloading information for all episodes for all shows which it wasn't doing before).

good luck,

d.

Two problems there:

1. It's not an options for me on these shows anymore. Even if I delete their database entries, it never asks me if I want Aired or DVD anymore... How do I get that back?

2. For some seaons, the order is different for DVD (like battlestar galactica). However, I THINK for the ones that are messing up, aired is the same - and I'll try it anyway if it's going to work. haha.

Still need help on #1 if anything's going to work though.

It seems like this is a bug also, so maybe the team can work on this one?

Have you turned off "Automatically set order to Aired" in configuration?

And you delete the series from the database in the Details tab then ran import again?

Do the parsing rules pick the said episodes up correctly?

I cant see any reason why it would not prompt for AIRED/DVD order then.

    1. Delete Database
    2. Follow MediaPortal Log Guidelines
    3. Run a fresh import
    4. Attach logs
