Weird issue - some of my videos don't play back properly 'at first'. By this I mean, I'll hit play, and the screen will go black as if the video is starting, but nothing happens, no audio, and nothing on the remote responds. If I wait 10-15 seconds and then hit "back", after about another 10 seconds, suddenly it will jump back to the video selection screen and the video will already be playing in the smaller area in the upper left. Then I can hit stop, then play again and the video will start right away just fine with no issues. The issue happens with certain videos with no correlation (some MKV some Xvid/AVI) and the videos it happens with it happens every time, the rest of the videos are fine.

When the screen first goes black, no buttons will do anything, I try stop, play, back, etc, and nothing happens - only if I wait 10-15 seconds then hit "back" will anything work. All of the videos that have the issue work just fine in WMP11 or any other external player. Anyone have this issue or know how to fix it? When the screen is black and nothing is happening, the HD is not active.

Well its a slightly different issue than I had, but I bet the fix is the same. Windows 7 overrides your MP config choices for video decoder, so download this Preferred Codec tweaker run it, adjust the decoders to your choices, hit apply and I bet they will work...
