Sometimes after TV analogue channel changing there is no sound. When I change channel again it is usually working due to probability. Of course changing audio codec doesnt help. Even new drivers havent helped me

    Hi,
Not seen this for awhile here, but i'm using TVE3. Does the sound come back when you skip back some sec?
I had this with old TV Engine, but that was due to codecs(nvidia & cyberlink for audio)

    Regards
    Roy

    ronilse,

I see this on the latest SVNs as well. In fact I've had it a while and thought it was a known bug.. Someone on the forums said it fixes itself if you skip to 'end' (right arrow) - which is does, so I haven't reported it..

It also seems to be channel specific.. i.e some channels always do it and others don't ..

I'll post some logs on a test session later in the week.

    Cheers

I had this with FFDShow Audio being used to control AC3 streams, much better to actually use the AC3 filter to control sound itself.

That's one of the reasons i like the Vista codec pack, as all i have to do is tell it to use 3:2 suround sound and choose AC3 under audio settings in MP.

I'm using AC3filter as my audio codec so I don't think it's an ffdshow problem.. it seems some channels in AUS (SBS) in particular might space their audio PMTs such that a quick channel switch makes the audio timeout. I'll post an example in the next few hours.

    Cheers
