When starting TV, I get sometimes "unable to play live2-0.ts buffer".
When hitting "tv on/off" then I get "unable to play live3-0.ts buffer" (second tv card), when hitting "tv on/off" again, the tv starts.

I did a complete reinstall, but the problem stays.

I see in the tv log "2010-09-01 12:00:28.386200 [(14)]: card: WaitForTimeShiftFile - no audio was found after 15,001 seconds".

logs:

You are using MDAPI which is not supported and could be the cause of your issues.

Please post all logs if you are able to replicate this without MDAPI being used

Oké I will test it with fta channels and mdapi disabled.

cpu spikes: Can be, I upgraded from e5200 (xp) to atom 330 ion (vista).

driver: I use the 0.34 driver, wich worked well on xp. I have tuning issues with the new drivers.

are the problems on each chanel or only on the "scrambled" ones?
what kind of tunig issues do you have with the new driver? (1.4.7.?)

re: sometimes "unable to play live2-0.ts buffer"

Almost all the channels I use are scrambled.

When scanning with the new driver , I get no signal after scanning +/-10 transponders.

I have set a delay for detecting the tv card, maybe that helps.

re: sometimes "unable to play live2-0.ts buffer"

I have just experienced this/similar problem. My TV client was connecting to the TV server without any problems at all, and then all of a sudden "unable to play: stream2.0/3.0". Nothing had changed, except I powered on a machine on the network that had a DNS server running. This problem may be related to DNS... this could explain why for some people it fails to connect the first time (as it did not find the host in time, but thereafter it knows where the host is).

Steps taken to solve my problem...

    - Changed client connection string from hostname to IP address, no fix
    - Shut down (2nd) dns server, flushed dns cache on client, no fix
    - Reinstalled client, restarted tv server service, rebooted router, tv stream works intermittently
    - Rebooted everything... seems to be working with full success rate now.

    I hope this helps.
