Sound and Vidoe out of Sync (2 Viewers)

Hi all.
Wondering if anyone is experiencing a problem where stored videos in Divx or Xvid format get jittery and the audio goes out of sync.
I am using a P4 with a gig of ram.
The latest and greatest SVN as of today.
The video works fine in Mediaplayer, but really sucks in MP.
I have double checked the same video clip by playing it over the wireless lan with no problem. Again only when it play sin MP.

if anyone has any suggestions let me know.

Are you using FFDShow or something else for Divx\Xvid playback.

Sorry I am not sure.
IS there a way to tell.
I have Divx on my device as well as Xvid codec.
I use Divx to compress the files to save on my drive. but honestly don' t know about the ffdshow.

Try using FFDShow available at Sourceforge.net (link not working for download at time of writing) or here

Uses less processing power than either the Divx\Xvid and runs nicely with MediaPortal.
