I upgraded to 1.0.1 and really like it. Thanks to the developers!
But I have a sound problem watching TV and Videos. Usually, I have stereo sources and in 1.0.0 I used the ffdshow mixer to upmix this to 5.1. After some hours of testing I had a really good setting!
Now, using 1.0.1 I have a strange behaviour: The left and right front speakers react to the volume setting done in MP, but the center and subwoofer don't! So when going to mute, the center and subwoofer are still playing. If I remove the cross-linking in ffdshow (e.g. center is 0.7 * left and right input), sure, I don't hear anything on the center. That sounds like a ffdshow problem, but using MP 1.0.0 it worked perfect!

Any ideas?

P.S.: The integrated BASS player works well for Music. And, if I try another codec for TV or Video, ffdshow is still used and I get the same problem...

Can you make sure you are using the latest ffdshow tryouts, this may be Directx related as MP1.0.1 is using a newer version features, so this may be a side effect of this.

So someone else can check this behaviour can you post a picture of your settings and upload\attach using the forum advanced + feature, just for reference this is mine.

Thanks for the reply. I am using the latest tryout and the funny thing is: yesterday, when I came back from work and gave MP another try, everything worked fine. So, don't know, what it was (I tried restarts/reboots before), but the problem is gone....
