Hello,
if i switch from a TV stereo channel to a stereo channel there is no ugly noise to hear.
But if i change from a stereo(mpeg2) to a ac3 channel i hear a scratch / jitter or something like that for a second.
This is since i have connected the mediacenter to my new 5.1 system via a optical cable. I bought a Teufel Concept S+R with integrated AV Receiver (http://www.teufel.de/de/Heimkino/Concept-S.cfm).
Can someone confirm that behavior with an av receiver?
I didn't have that with the small stereo jacks.
I don't know if it depends on the soundcard or if I should use a coaxial cable.
Maybe it depends ond the SPDIF passthrough?
