Sound via HDMI & SPDIF at the same time? (1 Viewer)

Hi guys,

since a few days i own the Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-S2H, which has a 780G Chip with HDMI and Audio onboard.

Now I have the problem that I can not hear audio via HDMI & SPDIF at the same time.
Just HDMI !OR! SPDIF.

I don`t want hear via SPDIF & HDMI at the same time.
I just don`t want to change the audio settings everytime I want to listen a movie with DolbyDigital Decoder.

Is there any solution?
How do you guys manage this?
Is there a macro or plugin available?
Or a modified driver?

Why not just choose another sound device in the settings for listening music and watching movies?:

Maybe if it helps: I have made AutoIt script that opens sound settings and change default device. Then i made menu in eventghost and associated it with button on the remote. Now you have to change all sound in MP to "Default DirectSound Device" and you can quickly toggle between HDMI and SPDIF.

As for both HDMI and SPDIF, i doubt it is possible. That is limitation of the Windows. And probably it would be also troubles with codecs. Is even possible to send AC3 passthrough on two devices at the same time?
