I managed some days ago to get the sources with subversion. But I cannot find the topic any longer that described it and that described how to get the daily updates. The sticky topic
'how to get the mediaportal sources' still is CVS based, could someone update this?

No I did not, but...

It does say the following, howver that does not help me. I have RC3, .NET 2.0, and the mozilla activex control (although I dont have mozilla and don't really want it). But what then, I think I am missing something? Do I need to know some kind of URL? Where do I go to after I have installed everything?

How to install MediaPortal SVN-Snapshots:
1) Install latest testrelease 0.2RC3, not necessary if already done
1a) install .NET Framework Version 2.0
1b) install Mozilla ActiveX Control for Web Browser
2) Backup your current installation! Copy the whole folder to a save place.
3) Overwrite your MediaPortal files with the ones from the SVN Build
4) execute the start.bat to reregister some needed files
5) Run Configure. Sometimes the settings and database versions change from build to build, so you have to reconfigure your TV for example
6) Hopefully enjoy the new version
7) If not, just make a repair or backup your old files, and you will have the old version back.
8) please report bugs via IRC to a developer

what are you trying to do? Get the sources to start programming or do you want th daily snapshot to update your mp installa with the latest "under construction" version?
